The 38th International Magic Convention looks set to be a great event this year. We have had it confirmed that the focus this year will be an ‘All New To The UK Convention’ line-up, which (subject to work commitments) will either be performers new to the UK scene, or for those that have lectured before, ones with a completely new lectures. At least nine of the featured acts will be all new (stage and closeup).

Richard Kaufman, Editor and Owner of Genii Magazine is confirmed as a workshop, quite probably in a form similar to last years Al Schnieder workshop on the Friday daytime slot.

Also some big, news is that they hope to have a ‘special event’ this year that could trump even the Derren Brown Q&A session from a couple of years ago. This surprise event is still subject to work commitments, but it sounds interesting, and is apparently ‘a biggie’…
