The convention had negotiated a discounted rate of £55 for a single and £60 for a double or twin.
Positive
Not far to stumble home from the bar after late night sessions and you could look over and see what Max Maven has for Breakfast.
Rooms were quiet (unless you got the room next to Max Maven who I’m told snores) and were cleaned daily, fresh towels, tea making facilities and a free adult channel in the rooms.
Negative
The Shower seemed to have a mind of its own and hot and cold water would be random, and the bathroom floor was lethal when wet and I was drunk.
Summary
The Sea Hotel did not provide value for money in my view (apart from the free adult channel, ok come to think of it I’m booking in there next year also), £60 for a double room and £55 for single rooms, also space was limited, however not staying at the hotel would not impact your enjoyment of the convention. So don’t let that put you off next year.
